Strong Passwords & Managers
Use a unique password for Uphold. Prefer a reputable password manager to generate and store long unique passwords.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Use an authenticator app (Authy/Google Authenticator) instead of SMS if possible
- Save backup/recovery codes in a secure offline place
Be Wary of Phishing
- Always check the URL and SSL lock
- Do not click links from unexpected emails or social messages
- Verify any “support” links via the official Uphold site
